Westlake – Bay Village Rotary Art Festival

July 27, 2024

This year, the Rotary Art Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Dozens of artists will be participating this year. Food and drink will be available. Music is scheduled throughout the day. The Festival itself will be on the grounds just west of Westlake Porter Public Library.  Parking will be next-door at Westlake Elementary School. Admission to the event is free to the public.

The Rotary Art Festival is an event hosted by Westlake-Bay Village Rotary, part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in this community and in ourselves. You can see us at work locally in many places including Westlake City Schools, Bay Village Schools, Ames House – Hospice of the Western Reserve, Meals on Wheels, Milestones Autism Resources, STAR Camp, Best Buddies, the City of Westlake, Bay Village.

The money raised from this festival goes directly back to the community for funding such things as kitchen equipment, college scholarships, assistance to those with special needs, family dinners at Ames House. If you are an artist and would like to participate in the Rotary Art Festival, please see our online registration page.  Contact Joe Kraft at josephkraft7@gmail.com if you have questions.

Our Featured Artist

Will be announced soon.

Westlake – Bay Village Rotary is extremely pleased to announce our 2023 Art Festival Featured Artist, The Cleveland Museum of Art Community Arts Center.

Each year our festival selects an artist or organization to highlight and serve as a focal point for the daylong event.

The Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) Community Arts Center is a 20,000-square-foot space located within the former Astrup Awning factory complex. It increases access to the arts by engaging with diverse new audiences that may not yet be involved with on-site museum programming. The CMA worked in partnership with Clark-Fulton Together, a resident-driven master plan headed by MetroHealth Hospital, the City of Cleveland, Metro West Community Development Organization, and local businesses to develop program content that meets community needs.

The Community Arts Center offers opportunities for residents in Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood and beyond to connect with the arts. It features art displays and free hands-on art activities and experiences. The inaugural exhibition, Parade the Circle: Celebrating 30 Years of Art and Community, opening in tandem with the center, showcases a varied collection of puppets, costumes, and masks created by artists and the community that reflect diverse cultures and global art traditions. Open every weekend, the Community Arts Center helps families and individuals of all ages connect to art and expression. Expose yourself to new materials and different perspectives. Drop in during their open hours for a special workshop led by a professional artist!
